Bluewater is a diving business focusing on underwater yacht care around the Elliott Bay Puget Sound marine area. We take care of a set number of saltwater vessels on our schedule and we don’t just change anodes and check your running gear, but just a important, we inspect the whole vessel and possess the experience to notice and fix many issues and potential problems early- before they become larger problems later. We can repair and maintain vessels in the water, and all work underwater is documented using high-definition video. HD video summaries of all work are also shared with the client, so everyone can see what’s happening below the waterline. About Marcus:
An Ocean Science major from the University of Washington, Marcus focused on Ocean Chemistry and has worked in the marine environment from areas of remote Alaska, throughout Asia, and of course our local waters here around Seattle for over 20 years. Marcus is also a SCUBA diving instructor and has worked in both the recreational and commercial settings, he has fixed and inspected boats both offshore and at the dock, and brings those skills to the Bluewater business. His knowledge of boats and their materials in relationship to the marine environment is what makes Bluewater an asset to any vessel. Marcus, like many of us has owned/operated more than a few boats over his time on the water, and currently, (when he’s not underwater), he might be out sailing his 42’ ketch rigged sailboat or fishing and diving off his 34′ aluminum fishing boat.
Anodes:
We use materials for our anodes that meet military specifications (mil-spec), and always install with an immaculate, good clean connection

Inspections:
Approximately every 90 days, vessels on the schedule can be additionally inspected for anything out of the ordinary. Running gear, thru-hulls, transducers, strainers, seams, and the waterline are all inspected, and notes are taken as well.
